Meet Una — chat, voice & text

Una is the coach built into Unicorn Money — the one who sits with you during the Intentions Ritual, remembers what you’re working toward, and helps you think it through. She shows up in three places, and you decide how many of them you want on.

The three places Una lives

Chat

Chat is on by the moment you sign in. Tap into the conversation anywhere you see it and type — about a plan, a goal, a “can we afford this,” a “what should I do with this extra.” This is the surface everyone meets first, and for a lot of people it’s the only one they ever need.

Voice

Una can talk. Look for the voice control in the conversation — the microphone — and you can speak to her and hear her back, hands-free, the way you’d talk through money with a person. It’s the same Una, same memory; just a different way in. If you’ve only ever typed, this is worth trying once.

Text (SMS)

Una can also reach you — and you her — over plain text message. No app open, no tab to find: a thread on your phone like any other. It’s the lowest-friction way to log a transaction the moment you spend it, or capture a thought the second you have it.

Text is opt-in, and it’s genuinely easy to miss. During onboarding the text step has a Skip, and if you tapped it (a lot of people do), you never turned it on — there’s nothing wrong with your account. You can switch it on any time.

After you opt in, you can save Una to your phone contacts so that while you’re on the go, you can just tell Siri to text Una with a transaction or question.

Turn on text

Texting with Una means we send messages to your phone, so it needs your explicit go-ahead — a one-time consent you give inside the app, not here. The button below takes you straight to the setting. Once you opt in, the text thread is live.
